A New Beginning for Rainbow Resort
"We would like to say hello to everyone. Our names are Bill and Robin Clark and we are the new owners of Rainbow Resort & Canoe Livery. We finalized the purchase on 01/19/23 and we are so excited to invite you to visit our beautiful Mio, Michigan Resort. We have worked hard to upgrade the property without losing any of the nostalgia that has made the resort unique, warm and fun for the entire family.

We are working continuing the work to keep our FB page up to date and fresh. We have recently completed our new website with new imagery and photos of the cabins.

We would also like to ask for your assistance in providing us with some of your photos during your visit here at our resort. By sending photos to us via email, you are agreeing to share your photo memories with visitors to the website — and we truly appreciate it. We would like to continue adding photos to our new website and feature your pictures here within our photo gallery.

Rainbow Resort Cabins & Canoe Livery will continue on with many traditions and and reflect on what makes us spectacular — our Ausable River canoeing, kayaking, boating, & Rainbow Trout Fishing!

"Me and my boyfriend made a last minute decision to go up to Mio for some get away time. Not only were we able to book the beautiful cabin we wanted only a day prior, but Robin and Henry truly made it a warm welcome. Robin worked with me and my boyfriend to help us be able to drop in a spot (that they don’t usually offer). Henry drove us out to the spot which is a bit out of their normal range. Henry not only took us and picked us up where and when he needed to but he did it with a smile on his face - along with wonderful conversations with him. Our 1 night stay was finished off feeling so good and feeling like such a reset we needed. Thank you Robin and Henry for making rainbow resort feel so welcoming, loved, and cared for. Your cabins are gorgeous, clean, and comfy. You guys are amazing people that should continue to feel proud of the hard work you’ve both put into that place.
